How to change SWIFT 4G wireless password and SSID

Swift Network recommends that you change your password from the default password to one that will be a bit hard yo hack or guess.

Depending on the modem you have, most of the them, the default password to your SWIFT 4G LTE hub Wireless / Wi-Fi is located just under it and usually written in front of Wi-Fi Key (WPA/WPA2). To change from this default password to a preferred one:

* Connect to the SWIFT Wi-Fi using the default password; its Wi-Fi Key (WPA/WPA2) located under the modem
* Launch your browser
* Open http://homerouter.cpe/,, or depending on your modem. One will surly work.
* Login using your credentials. If you’ve never changed them then its

Default username: user
Default password: user

If the above credentials don’t work then try

Default username:
Default password: admin

* When logged in, go to Settings > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Basic Settings
* Under Wi-Fi Basic Settings, you can change your SSID, Hide SSID broadcast , Wi-Fi password and other settings
* Click Submit when you’re done

# Note
* To easily reset the password to the default, simply press the reset button on the Swift HUB device
* The Reset button is not present on the Mi-fi devices[/sociallocker]
